In brief: SpaceCom offering $100K Google Cloud prize for space start-ups.

Commercial space start-ups will be playing for big cloud time at the SpaceCom Entrepreneur Challenge in Houston.  Winner of the November 28 session pitch will get $100,000 in Google Cloud credits.

The SpaceCom Entrepreneur Summit (SES) brings together early-stage space startup and investors for a full day of workshops and activities to stimulate investment and growth in the commercial space sector. Along with workshops and the Entrepreneur Challenge plenary session pitch, there will also be a show floor pavilion showcasing innovative startup companies.

Google Cloud for Startups has agreed to award $100,000 in Google Crowd credits to the competition winner, $20,000 in credits for runners up and $3,000 in credits for every qualified entrant in the competition.  Other prizes include a guaranteed extended meeting with an investment firm, a speaking role at SpaceCom 2019 and a booth at SpaceCom 2019. The top winner will also get meeting with at least three investment firms.
